Building Tomorrow
…delivered
Our Story
We had a few structural disagreements, so we rethought the whole roof.
Families have a way of needing more room just as life leaves less room in the budget. A child comes home. A parent needs care. Another generation arrives, bringing joy, luggage, and very little regard for the floor plan.
A good home should have an answer.
For too long, we have built houses around a moment and asked families to arrange the rest of their lives accordingly. When circumstances change, the remedies are expensive and familiar: renovate, relocate, begin again. The mortgage, meanwhile, shows remarkable resistance to change.
We imagine something more generous. Homes with room for three generations to live together, and enough independence to enjoy it. Space to gather, a door to close, and a place at the table when it matters. Layouts that shift as the family does, making room for care, privacy, return, and renewal without requiring a new address.
Each design begins with the people and the place. The contours of the land. The demands of the climate. The quiet negotiations of life under one roof. Where the morning light falls, and where everyone inevitably gathers. No two homes are quite alike; neither are the lives they hold.
Solar power, rainwater catchment, and septic systems carry part of the household's needs on site, easing everyday costs and helping life carry on when the grid cannot. Structures are designed for the climate they may meet fifty years from now. The land beneath them is held for the long term, with care for what it can sustain and what future generations might make of it.
Today, we are refining our designs, securing land, and bringing funding and approvals into alignment. The foundations begin well before the concrete.
We build for the long now: for the child who leaves and may one day return; for the parent whose place at the table should never be in question; for the ordinary pleasures of having your people close, and the extraordinary relief of being able to keep them there.
A family's story has a way of exceeding its original plans. The house should be ready.
Custom Home Design
Every home is designed from scratch to feel one-of-a-kind and elevated, tailored to the families and the land it serves.
Off-Grid & Self-Sustaining
Solar power, water capture, and food systems make each home partially off-grid and resilient for generations to come.
Grant Funding & Development
We help secure grants and shape development ideas, presenting clear plans to city planners and funding partners.
Community Planning
We design multigenerational communities that blend custom homes with shared, sustainable infrastructure.
What We Believe
Four principles. A longer view of home.
A home should earn its place in a family's life and keep earning it as that life changes. These four principles guide how we design, what we plan for, and how far ahead we look. The next fifty years deserve a little more consideration than the next open house.
Multigenerational by design
Private wings, shared gathering spaces, and room for the balance between care and independence to change. A home that welcomes three generations through every stage of life, with a place to come together and a door to close. Togetherness is considerably sweeter when everyone has somewhere else to be.
Off-grid by intention
Solar power, rainwater catchment, and on-site wastewater systems, chosen to suit the land and local requirements. Greater self-reliance, thoughtful use of resources, and resilience planned into the home from the beginning. The grid is welcome to help; we'd rather it didn't have the last word.
Custom by craft
Every design begins with a family and a place: their habits, the contours of the land, the afternoon light, the climate ahead. Those particulars shape a home that feels natural to the people living there and deliberate in every detail. Families rarely come in standard sizes; we see no reason their homes should.
Land held for the long now
We take the long view of the land beneath each home, with continuity and stewardship guiding what comes next. Homes designed to be cared for, adapted, and passed forward, on land whose value includes what it can sustain over generations. A lasting home gives those who follow a place to belong and a foundation on which to build.
