Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on October 5, 2026.
Havenmark Homes ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to making the Havenmark Homes website (the "Site") accessible to all people, including those with disabilities. We aim to provide a digital experience that offers the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment to visitors with disabilities as to other visitors, in keeping with our belief that a home should welcome every generation and every ability.
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved through the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating and through assistive technologies such as screen readers, voice recognition software, and keyboard navigation.
Conformance and standards
We have adapted this site in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, and following them helps us meet the accessibility requirements of Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended. The Site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, including screen readers and keyboard use.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
As part of this effort, we have taken the following measures:
- •Set the language of the site so screen readers pronounce content correctly
- •Defined clear heading structures on all of the site's pages
- •Added alternative text to meaningful images
- •Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast
- •Ensured the site can be navigated by keyboard alone
- •Reduced the use of motion and provided stable, predictable interactions
- •Made forms and controls labeled and operable with assistive technology
- •Reviewed the site for accessibility on an ongoing basis
State and local accessibility laws
In addition to federal law, we endeavor to meet the accessibility requirements of applicable state and local laws, including but not limited to:
- •California: the Unruh Civil Rights Act (California Civil Code section 51) and the California Disabled Persons Act
- •New York: the New York State Human Rights Law and the New York City Human Rights Law
- •Colorado: the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act, as informed by HB 21-1110
- •Illinois: the Illinois Human Rights Act and the Illinois Information Technology Accessibility Act
- •Massachusetts: the Massachusetts Public Accommodations Law (M.G.L. c. 272, sections 92A, 98)
- •Texas: Texas Government Code chapter 2054 (Electronic and Information Resources Accessibility)
- •Florida: the Florida Civil Rights Act
- •Washington: the Washington Law Against Discrimination (RCW chapter 49.60)
- •New Jersey: the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (N.J.S.A. 10:5-1 et seq.)

This list is not exhaustive. We continuously monitor evolving federal and state accessibility requirements and update our practices accordingly.
Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content
The accessibility of certain pages on the Site depends on content that does not belong to Havenmark Homes, such as embedded video, maps, or third-party imagery. We therefore declare partial compliance with WCAG 2.1 level AA for those specific elements, and we work with our third-party providers to encourage accessible alternatives wherever possible.
Accommodations for meetings and in-person engagement
Havenmark Homes works with landowners, funders, and city planners, much of it remotely or in the field. We will make reasonable arrangements at no cost to you, given reasonable notice.
